Originally launched in 2005, the SNIA Academy program delivers a series of one-day seminars where educational content developed by SNIA and its forums is delivered by members of the association. The Academy series is a highly successful brand that has been delivering educational content across the US and Europe throughout 2006 and there is an expansion of the program in 2007 scheduled to include the following cities:

USA : Chicago, Minneapolis, Washington, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Jose, Dallas, Atlanta
Europe : Prague, Warsaw, Zurich, Dubai, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, Moscow.

The SNIA Academies deliver a great foundation to help connect storage and information management vendors with local markets under the SNIA umbrella and assist in driving the message of standards and best practices in the storage industry.

The agendas are built upon the content from the well established SNIA tutorial program and will address topic areas that are at the top of agenda for almost all storage professionals.

As the "Voice of SNIA", the tutorials are vendor-neutral, and aim for technology education, not advocacy.
