The SNIA (Storage Networking Industry Association) of South Asia is delighted to announce the return of their popular Academy in February 2010. Running this year under the theme of 'The Changing Face of the Data Centre’ the event has expanded to one and a half days and will run on Thursday 25th and Friday 26th February 2010 at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore.
The SNIA South Asia Storage Academy is free to attend for IT end-users and resellers and is applicable for all types of organisation, large and small, public and private. The agenda is filled with a combination of vendor independent SNIA tutorials on the current hot topics in the field of data storage, data management, cloud services, virtualization and infrastructure developments like Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) backed up by keynote addresses from leading industry commentators, analysts and selected vendors.
Our keynote speakers on the afternoon of Thursday 25th February include Simone Brunozzi, Web Services Technology Evangelist from AMAZON, Simon Piff, Practice Director of the IDC Enterprise Infrastructure research group in Asia Pacific and David Dale, vice-chairman of SNIA.
Supporting SNIA South Asia in bringing the 2010 Academy to Singapore is the Data Storage Institute along with several leading IT vendors including Cisco, Dell, EMC, FalconStor, Hitachi Data Systems, HP, IBM, NetApp and Symantec.
